 Saulo Ribeiro created the Ribeiro Jiu-Jitsu Association (RJJA) network in 1995. His first chapter, now headed by Chris Blanke in Toledo – Ohio, remains the RJJA flagship of the Midwest. Today there are training associations around the world, united by the team spirit and camaraderie that are the essence of the martial art and sport. Saulo Ribeiro and the RJJA are committed to delivering the same Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu that earned him an unprecedented 6 World Championships and the lifestyle that made him a better person and fighter. Professors Saulo and Alexandre “Xande” Ribeiro continue to impart their own personal skills and methods to Association instructors in the areas of: technique, philosophy and history of the sport, self defense, sport Jiu-Jitsu and submission wrestling.
